    Hanging out with throwline!

    Bought for use as a tarp ridgeline for hammock camping. Product is super lightweight and easy to store in a backpack. Used in forty foot lengths because a good jungle hammock hang is on average about fifteen feet or more sometimes. Product is best cut with a ceramic knife or a good pair of micro serrated fishing tackle scissors. I finish the ends of the line with a small amount of CA glue (super glue) to keep ends from fraying. Burning the ends is possible but dyneema line mushrooms out more than nylon or Dacron. A good choice for this application because of the low stretch characteristics and also does not soak up rain water. I will purchase this product again for its intended use for tree work.
