6 years ago- A: Hi Donjan, We recommend the feed be stored in a cool, dry place within an enclosed container. We aren't sure what the temperature is like in your garage, but we definitely suggest moving the feed from the tote bag into a container/multiple containers to keep it fresh for the longest possible time. As for any of our feeds, we recommend using the product within 3-6 months of the production date. That date is found on the piece of paper protected by the tote's shipping shrink wrap. The day of the year it was manufactured is shown in the three digits previous to the number 18 or 19, which is the year. You can use a Julian Day Calendar (easy to find when Googled!) to determine the day of the year it was made. For example, May 3rd 2018 would be 123-18, since May 3rd is the 123rd day of 2018.
