Q: Would these be too much boot in southern California used as rain boots. I like that they are easy to slip on and off, but my son doesn't need a heavy boot that is too clunky. Just need a comfortable, warm rain boot. Thanks!

- A: They are mid calf on me. These boots are great. I have worn them hiking, when there is bad weather, when I am on my landscaping job, on my second job at a truck stop. I have gotten diesel fuel and gasoline splashed on them no damage. They keep my feet warm in the cold. They are well made and comfortable. I hope this answers anything about these boots. The two pairs I own are about two years old now.5 years agoHelpful?
