Works great over the worn unit I replaced.

I had to replace a Campbell hydrant after 17 years. I installed the Water source/Pro Plumber. It operates great compared to my old unit. This time around I made sure I installed enough rock for a drain field and used a 6 inch PVC pipe around the stand pipe/drain filled with pea gravel to keep sidement and clay from building up around the drain. So far it works great. Hope it lasts. A lot of reviews have said they have experienced broken handles or other parts. I believe they are not adjusting the unit correctly and either having a freeze issue due to no drain back or it’s adjusted to tight cause the rod to put pressure on the handle.

Yes, I recommend this product.
