The K2 Pumps Yard Hydrants work with municipal water and private wells. The Hydrant head and handle are constructed of heavy-duty cast iron. You can easily replace the rod, plunger, seat and linkage without digging. This frost proof yard hydrant has a shut-off valve which operates below the frost line to supply running water, even in the coldest weather. K2 Pumps also manufactures a Hydrant Repair Kit - part number PAWP00001K; and Complete Head Assembly - part number PAWP00002K.

- A: Mint2Lip - Thank you for reaching out to our Technical Support Team. The hydrant does not make water become unfreezable. It has a weep hole at the bottom which water drains out of. Since there will be no water in the pump, the water can never freeze. Please keep in mind that water below the weep hole will not drain. Please ensure your pipe is buried deep enough so that liquid will not freeze. -GP Supporta year agoHelpful?

Website showed that I would have the item by Saturday. I called the local store talk to the manager to find out which would be quicker, shipped to store or delivered to home. He told me you’d have it Wednesday or Thursday that week in store, but didn’t make it till the following Tuesday.
