Q&As

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: How much pressure does it take to open the valve?

1 Answer
  • A: It takes very little pressure, typically between 0.5 and 1.0 PSI, to open the spring-loaded valve. This low "cracking pressure" allows it to function easily in most standard well and city water systems while still snapping shut quickly to prevent backflow.
