GroundWork Push Spreader, 70 lb. Capacity is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from GroundWork Push Spreader - don’t waste your money. This isn’t worth the money. The biggest problem is that there is no consistent setting for spreading fertilizer or other chemicals. There is no way to calibrate the opening for the media to go out and every time you shut the spreader off to load and then put the lever back to what was a good setting the opening is either open too much or no enough. Also the handle always leans down on the left side and when you straighten them they go right back in the down position towards the ground on the left side. I’m returning this today as I had enough grub chemical for three acres and got maybe 1 and a half with the discharge not being able to be controlled.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is it suppose to sling 360 degrees? Literally bought this 6 hours ago and it works fine but is it suppose to sling everything 360 degrees including back at me? Am I missing something? Like a shield plate? Never had a spreader do this before and dont really care for it if that is how its suppose to work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad choice First impression was good. Spreader looked and felt solid. But didn't take long for inferior quality to begin to show. Difficult to get consistent precision on the flow rate. Usually either too little or too much. Rust and paint peeling developed quickly. I would not recommend investing in this product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good! I used mine only a few times and after awhile the wheels would not turn anymore without a ton of effort. The metal is not treated and it will rust. Always kept it clean so the problem is with the spreader itself.

What is the setting conversion to common spreaders (i.e. Scotts)? I've yet to see Groundwork listed on any bagged fertilizer products. I see others have asked the same question. Why not just include it with the product or post online. Thanks.

How may I correlate the 1-10 spreader scale to Scotts recommended settings because virtually all fertilizer bags contain recommended Scotts spreader settings.

Is it suppose to sling everything 360 degrees including back at me? Is there a shield for the back of the slinger plate that I'm missing?

I just bought this product new yesterday and assembled it and one tire does not turn. I see the tire that does spin does not have a cotter pin attached to the inside of it and the other one does, do I remove that other wheel cotter pin to get it to spin?
