Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag size lot of grass seed I sprayed this down with some Milorganite I grew up pretty good I filled in most bought some spots still stayed blank but for the most part it all filled in good I've been lucky enough to have rain for like 6 days in a row so that helped

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dies out I bought this product and planted it in early May, doing everything by the book. The grass came up and grew nicely, but as the spring and summer progressed, the grass has died out with large sections of no grass at all. I wish I had bought higher quality seed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Been using this product for the last five years for new home build and continuing expansion of my lawn. Used 150 lbs around new inground pool last year and about 80 percent of where planted this spring is plain dirt. Perennial means it supposed to come back year after year. A complete reseed is needed this year - thanks for a complete muddy mess - wont use again.

I need to overseed my lawn (Lot size is 1/3 acre with full sun, some shaded spots). My lawn and the neighborhood has lots of Bermuda. Would Perennial Ryegrass be suitable; and 50 lbs enough for my lawn? Is fall a good time to do it?

Asked by: Mo Ali
Yes perennial ryegrass would work great and 1 50lb bag would work for overseeding.

What is the blend of your perennial rye grass seed? Percentages of other seeds would be helpful. Looking for a perennial rye grass and chewings fescue blend if you have it.

Asked by: Janine
The perennial ryegrass has 3 different ryegrasses in it. 1/3 of each type. Chewings is mostly used in shade mixtures. Sun & Shade north has chewings and perennial in it.

Is this safe for cattle to eat on a pasture?  I have read warnings on other brands "not for livestock grazing".  I need a perennial to plant on my pasture.

Asked by: Badmoonrisn
This product is used for turf and not suitable for grazing. Recommended products are GroundWork All Purpose Forage Mix, North Mix (Sku: 686194199) and GroundWork All Purpose Forage Mix, South Mix (Sku: 686196799).
