Bermuda could vary for this specified zone. Ultra Premium Tall Fescue could potentially work best.

I'm in zone 9(Columbia,SC) and trying to develope horse pastures. What's the best grass that you would recommend for my hot, dry, and clay soil for horses. Tried Kentucky 31(I did plant it in Fall) and watched it "burn up" from the heat and drought.

I have Bermuda sod that I covered with topsoil, basically starting over with lawn, will this work in Kyle Texas ? I'm putting in a sprinkler system now. And can I use the 13-13-13 with it right away?
