This spreader is good ,, big loads are no problem. so no extra refills. Goes great over the rough ground with the large wheels.. Great value for the excellent quality.

Needs some help

Bought it for the large tires. Had to re-drill every hole in the frame for the handles to fit. The t-bar is crooked - like the floor model - and the hopper is to flat to empty. The rest stand is too long so it's a little awkward to push along. It is very typical of the import goods TS is pushing and I pretty much got what I expected. On the good side, I have these big tires. Wouldn't recommend or buy another.

Easy job

First you will have to assemble the spreader. I would suggest putting some grease in the axle bushings before assembly as they are not accessible after you build it. Leave all the nuts real loose on the bolts as the stand mount bolts on mine didn't line up until i loosened all the other bolts up. I still needed a clamp to get the holes aligned. You will have to adjust the drop chute to drop the proper amount of fertilizer. I used my old spreader as a guide. Make sure you tighten the knob that holds the setting in place. To close the chute you push the control arm forward. Once assembled i dumped 50 lbs of fertilizer in the hopper and off i went. Since it will throw fertilizer 6 feet on either side i had to learn how to walk around the yard so i did not overlap too much. What once was an hour of back breaking labor with an old Cyclone spreader took 20 minutes to fertilize an acre of property

Gearbox is garbage

Gearbox lasted 1 season on a 2 acre plot. All plastic gears junk unless you want to replace every year!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed

Looks and feels like a sturdy spreader. I like the construction of the carriage, heavier tubing and nice large wheels to make pushing across a large lawn a little easier. The gate mechanism works well. That's the good - the not so good is the way it will spray mostly to the left, creating an uneven pattern that you have to make sure to account for. Another not so good is the slide on the gate handle is easily moved so if you bump it your changing your spread rate. Should have done more research before purchasing it.

Not for Milorganite Pro as it comes out the back

I like the size of the hopper, the cover and the tires. Unfortunately I am going to return the spreader as it just puts out too much product out the back---fills my shoes up when I am trying to apply Milorganite Pro. I can't figure out why it does that but I can't find a fix.
