The GPI Electric 115V 8 GPM L 5132 Heavy-Duty Oil Transfer Pump is ideal for use with new oil (up to 90 wt.), waste oil, hydraulic fluid, antifreeze or other non-flammable oil-based solvents. This oil pump features a gerotor gear design and durable, lightweight cast aluminum housing. With a rugged 115-/230VAC motor delivering flow rates up to 32 QPM (30 LPM), it is engineered for long life and limited maintenance. The oil transfer pump comes complete with a ball valve nozzle, 8 ft. (2.5 m) dispensing hose, a telescoping suction pipe to fit tank depths between 15 in. and 40 in., and 3-prong plug-in. The motor is a UL recognized component and CSA approved with a 1-year warranty.

Q: Could I mount this pump on a wall and use a hose on the suction side to pump from barrels?
6 years ago- A: The L series pumps are designed to be mounted atop a barrel or tank, but as long as you are not going over the suction lift length and the pump is mounted to something to stabilize it there should be no issues with that. The suction lift on the L series pumps is 15' for low viscosity oils, but a general rule of thumb is to not go over the suction pipe provided with the pump, which is roughly 3'.
