Q: Can you either shut off the outer two nozzles for properties that have a lot of trees and tight spaces, or can you not fully assemble the boom and use the outer tips on the inner nozzle positions and operate it at as a two nozzle system only?

- A: There's only two ways that you can shut off the outer nozzles. You can either remove the tips and install shut off caps or the best way would be to install a two-way shut off valve in line, allowing you to turn off the nozzles with just a turn of the knob on the shut off vavle.a year agoHelpful?

Femco Pro Series 45 Gallon, 3-Point Sprayer

The sprayer is as advertised. I tightened all screw-clamps, add a few up-quality screw-clamps, having one slight drip, which was corrected with a replacement screw-clamp. My tractor battery is located in front of tractor, therefore, I purchased a roll of 12 gauge wire and lengthened the wire harness. The assembly was fairly simple. At the moment, I have no complaints.

Frequent issue but FIMCO doesn't resolve

The sprayer itself works as expected. What's crappy is that FIMCO and TSC know that the wire lead is too short unless your using a short subcompact. From the battery clip to the on/off switch is too short unless you're practically sitting on the battery. But FIMCO is more than happy to sell you a extension, however TSC doesn't typically seem to carry it in stock...nor do they carry the 12 volt plug adaptor that could also mitigate the short issue. BEWARE you'll likely have to order additional wiring adaptors or rig up wiring from the battery to where the FICMO wiring will reach.

Glad to hear that the sprayer is working as expected for you, but sorry to hear that you're unhappy about the length of lead wire. We've had that length for years and there are times where a longer one probably would be better for the end user's use. Please contact our customer service team at 800-831-0027 about an extension wire as we do have some of those in our office and someone on the team will be glad to assist you.

Works but has issues

Second rate wiring. Hose wand leaks.fittings on pump leak. Alot to fix before use. Works great once I fixed everything and made a usable wiring harness.

Sorry you had that issue. Not sure why the wand would be leaking, unless you're referring the hose clamp on the hose connection. It does state in the manual to ensure all hose clamps are tight before testing or using for the first time. Also, not sure what was wrong with the wiring. Pete, thank you for your purchase of the 45-gallon 3PT sprayer. Very sorry that happened, please contact our customer service team at 800-831-0027 and they'll be happy to assist you with getting your sprayer back in order. If you're saying the pressure switch is out because the motor isn't running, maybe try one thing before calling, the on/off switch on the lead wire assembly, open that up, should be held together with two small screws. Once you have it opened, you'll see two wires held down by screws, you can take one of those wires loose and reach it over and touch the other wire. If you have a jumper wire, then you would just need to jump those two wires without removing. If the motor kicks in, then it wouldn't be the pump, it would actually be that switch on the lead wire that is causing the issue. Either way, give us a call.
