- A: George, you would need to install shut off valves in line on your boom in order to shut off outer nozzles and reduce the spray width. With each nozzle you'll get approximately a 20" swath. 3 nozzles would give you approximately 60" (5') and 5 nozzles would give you approximately 100" (8.33').a year agoHelpful?

- A: Hi! Per the user manual: The pumping system draws solution from the tank, through the strainer and to the pump. The pump forces the solution under pressure to the spray wand and spray boom. The pump has a pressure switch which will shut the pump off when it reaches 60 PSI. Pressure may be regulated by opening or closing the bypass valve located on the top of the tank. Also, the boom can be cycled on and off with this valve. Disappointed.

The sprayer does a nice enough job spraying, although I do have 2 issues with it. First, when the arms (spray bars) are folded in the rubber hose that feeds the spray heads in kinked well past 90 degrees. No way this will not be a problem someday. A terrible design that seems like it could have been avoided with a little better engineering.
My second is the location of the spray bar. I put it in the lowest set of predrilled holes, making it as close to the ground as possible. I find it is still too high when spraying. There is enough room on the framework to drill another set of holes about 4" lower and remount the spray bar. Not a big deal to do. I think this will help considerably.

Delivery Nightmare

We haven’t used the sprayer yet, but getting it delivered was a total joke. The driver refused to drive down our driveway, then said he had no way to unload it, and would need us to unload it for/with him. They ended up needing to come back the next day because the guy had no way to get the sprayer off the truck. So, they just dropped the 200 pound sprayer by the road, and we had to get it to the house. Not impressed, especially since we paid for delivery and it wasn’t cheap.

Workhorse sprayer

I really like this sprayer. Well made, easy operation. Minimal assembly, easily done. I did not like the spray tips that came with it, so I changed them. Otherwise, so far, an excellent sprayer.
