Q: Can these be planted in the fall and overwintered? Asking for zone 7A in particular.

    A: Thank you for your intereest in Stuttgarter onions. They can be planted and overwintered. You will want to watch for early spring flowering which will decrease harvest. Awesome onions

Awesome... Awesome... I planted the whole bag....3 days later my chickens broke into my garden .....tried to dig up the whole garden...hahaha the onions had shot roots strong enough to not let my girls scatter the onions....awesome is all I can say
