Coleman 700-Lumen Premium Dual Fuel Lantern with Case

Lantern tank doesn’t fit in the base of the carrier. It’s larger than the pocket in the base. I would like to return it but I no longer have the order number so I’m out of luck on that. My fault.

I don’t think anything else comes close to function and purpose as a Coleman lantern does. My only regret is that I got this sooner. I traveled to Alaska for two months and wanted an alternative to electric lights to limit the amount of battery electricity I use, since I was also powering a starlink and a diesel heater, the battery power was really limited. So finding this came in clutch. I love that it uses normal gasoline, the mantles are also super cozy bright, and a warm light at that. It’s pretty easy to use once you learn how to pump it. It definitely lights up a medium sized campsite, and provides a really nice ambience. It makes a slight noise but it’s faint. Coleman started with lanterns, I can’t imagine a better light source. For me I just like that it’s dependable and that I can fix anything on it myself, I feel a lot safer with it than an electric light source and it helped me conserve my battery bank. Gasoline is also the cheapest fuel source and easiest to obtain, so I never felt insecure about not having a fuel source or having problems with propane freeze up or butane when it gets cold. Definitely get yourself one!

Wish that you would keep making these and the liquid stoves... While maybe not as convenient they are great in areas where you cannot get propane or have a long term power outage. Huntsville Al had one in 2011 (two weeks). And I was so glad to have my 414 powerhouse and lawnmower gas... The neighbors were happy also

We have had an outfitting business for thirty years. The new lanterns just don't work. They are not bright and will not hold pressure. Very disappointed. We love using gas powered lanterns but the thirty-year-old lanterns need replace and the new ones don't work.
