Q: Why is it recommended to not use the smaller camp style LP canisters? Is it just an efficiency thing as long as the correct fitting adapters are used?

- A: With the 3 burner stove, the BTU draw to operate all 3 is too high for the small green canisters. One of the small canisters can only support approx. 9,000BTUs, and the burners on the angle iron stoves are 12 – 15,000BTUs each.5 years agoHelpful?

Great 3 burner stove

Mounted this stove on small shop cart on wheels. Making a portable kitchen for camping that I can use in or out of a box trailer. You need to build the regulator and hose, sold separately. Hooked it all up and test run all 3 burners with no change in flames. Heats things up fast. Got to enjoy cool on it the next camping trip.
