Nearly perfect... but!

Went together easy enough and instructions were illustrated well, but I am mechanically inclined. It may be more daunting if I was not . Biggest issue I have with this product is that there is not a provision for closing them in the nest/roost area for the night. We move the entire assembly including chickens from area to area, but must risk catching a foot if left in the screened in area, or we must catch them and move them in a cage. Another lesser issue is there is little ventilation for the nest/roost area. I plan to drill some holes in the ends of the dormers for ventilation. We also have a piece of expanded metal we slide over the opening to the lower section that we use to close them in the nest/roost area.

It fits 4 barely . One nesting box is screen so no real air flow unless it’s the bottom. I’m food and water have to be squeezed in there and it makes it less space up top. Make sure to weather proof the sides . Chickens use the nesting boxes to sleep and lay eggs . The 2 roosting rods. Not that much space between them and can barely do that because of where the water needs to go and the food so they poop in the food often . You can prop open the nesting boxes…. That’s how my chickens escaped . Not worth the money at all. Then tryna drill be careful .
