The Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener is an innovative abrasive belt sharpening system. The combination of flexible premium abrasive belts and precision sharpening guides create the sharpest blades you've ever had with speed, ease and repeatability. This knife an tool sharpener's sharpening guides are purpose built for kitchen knives, outdoor knives (hunting knives, pocket knives, filet knives, etc.) as well as scissors and serrated knives. This tool sharpener can also be used for many other sharpening tasks such as garden pruners, lawn mower blades, shovels and countless other bladed shop and garden tools. It is assembled and quality tested in Ashland Oregon and has a 1 year warranty. The Work Sharp knife & tool sharpener includes a detailed Quick Start Guide and User's Guide.

Sharpener - need one get two

Tried the sharpener on several knives and a sword blade. Previously tried to sharpen the reproduction sword blade (received without sharpened edge with files and grinding wheel) which did not work to my satisfaction) which is why I purchased this sharpener. Sharpener worked perfectly and quickly on the knives and sword blade. With regard to knives, sharpener worked a well as I have used with whet stones, the difference being that the different angle guides provided better precision. This sharpener is small and light weight for tool sharpening and locating where needed rather than where the tool or knives are located. This model is not for heavy duty work being light weight. The instructions are well done. The only reason to use conventional file or whetstone sharpening is if there no 120VAC power source available. It would not be unreasonable to have one in the kitchen and one in your shop area (available to take to your hunting/fishing camp, beware you will be requested to sharpen everyones knives and other items that badly need sharpening).
