    Disappointed

Have had this product since it launched I ordered as soon as it became available. With the hopes of being able to use it as a good battery backup solution. I'm disappointed, the fan in the inverter is too loud and turns on with even the smallest load. The type c port is only 30 watts, they say it'll support ~300watts running, I've only seen 250 before overload protection. I'm sure toro puts out more than 300 watts with their tools so I'm not sure why they couldn't have designed an inverter to do the same, with the disappointment in wattage output at least it's still more bulky and has less functionality. The 60v battery's are large, it would be ok to make the inverter a bit larger but pack it with the features becoming of a Toro product, 1000watt output and 100w type C PD, and a quiet mode.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Handy To Have Around

Our phones are our life lines these days, so when the power goes out, it's nice to have this inverter around. Powers a lamp I have and charges my phone. Definitely handy to have around when you own Toro power tools.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Toro inverter 60v 51860t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to power a few lights in a power outage short term until I can hook up the generator to our transfer switch. I tried it out and it works great. Note to potential buyers this is not a pure sine wave inverter, but very handy to have around. I have several toro 60v pieces of equipment the recycler, the single stage snow blower, and this years addition the two stage 24 inch snow blower. So I have 4 of these batteries and it’s nice to have an additional use for them. I do hope you come out with a bigger inverter with pure sine wave and a 60v lawn tractor. As you can see by my purchases I am a big fan of your 60v line. They all have excellent power, the batteries last, and bonus no gas/oil to mess with. I am sure I will find more uses for the inverter, like a light finally in my dark shed, as time goes on.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
