Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price I bought this gate to replace one that had been damaged. Very easy to install even though the gate I was replacing was a different brand since the hinge pins were the same size so I didn't need to replace the post side of the hinge. Only weak element is the paint not being very strong. It had a number of scratches when I picked it up. I will just keep a can of spray paint handy to touch it up as needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Photo IS NOT the gate advertised I wasted fuel to pick up a gate I had phoned about when I found out the item number was completely a different gate from this website. A waste time and money, they only said well maybe you should email the company as if it was my problem the advertised gate was incorrect. I was told they don't even carry the gate connected to this UPC misrepresenting a gate I want to purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gate - 0 Mighty Mule -1 We put a mighty mule gate opener on it and the tubing bent. Had to put extra reinforcement on that particular tube to get it to work. If we didn't have the gate opener, it would be a great gate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok. Watch that it isn’t bent I think it would be a nice inexpensive gate if it hadn’t been horribly bent. The whole gate was twisted so you couldn’t see it until it was hung or laid flat on the ground.

What color is the paint on this gate? I would be buying it in Billings, MT.

I'm looking at this gate for the entrance to my property. I'll use a chain and lock around my post for the free end, but what should I do for the hinge side? Can I lock the hinge posts? Should I just use chain there as well?

Asked by: ZombieHollow
Hinges can not be locked. You can hang by pointing the top pin down to add security to the gate.

What are "Snap Chains"? And can a 3rd hinge be added in the middle of the span to be fastened to the post? Thanks.

Asked by: VicFararri
It is a standard chain used for securing the open end of the gate. Yes, hinges can be added.
