CountyLine Utility Gate, 16 ft. (L) x 50 in. (H) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 487.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Painted not Galvanized The gate is painted, rather than galvanized and was already beginning to rust, so I returned it. For something that's going to be used outdoors and should last a long time, I'd rather it not rust right away. TSC was great about the return though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good basic gate Good gate. Not as heavy duty as they used to be but more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gate relief Replaced my old 12 ft gates with the new 16 ft ones. Now I have no worries pulling my bigger equipment from field to field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gate for cows. I’m pleased with the purchase of this gate. I like the chain holder that is attached to one side which one of my previous gates was missing. The gate works perfect for my cows and was easy to install by myself. This was a new install so if replacing an old gate just know the bottom hinge is fixed so might need to change bottom pin position on your post.

I'm looking at this gate for the entrance to my property. I'll use a chain and lock around my post for the free end, but what should I do for the hinge side? Can I lock the hinge posts? Should I just use chain there as well?

Asked by: ZombieHollow
Hinges can not be locked. You can hang by pointing the top pin down to add security to the gate.
