If I can remember I bought three bundles. The post are rotting off at ground level. I buy a lot through out the year but never treated fence again

what type of wood are they made of ? how long will the last?

These posts are pine. There are two factories in Michigan that produce posts made of red pine, and one factory that produces posts made of southern yellow pine in Kentucky.
