Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gate. I bought two of these gates and they are awesome. The fact that it comes with all the gear needed... THE BEST... and the price is unbeatable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fence gate I use these gates when I install wooden fences in residential applications. They cost more than building the traditional wooden gate, but will not sag over time. All I do is just screw the pickets directly to the gate and it works and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy I bought this gate for my mini donkey and it holds up very well. He hated the sliding equine door that is on his stall. I will be purchasing one for my horse's stall also so she can take advantage of the fresh air. We did keep the sliding doors on for winter use, we just installed the gates on the inside of the stall. Works great!

What is the measurement from the bottom of the gate to the bottom hinge. Plus or minus an inch will do.

Asked by: Gary 3373
Hinges should be between and 6 and 7 inches from the bottom of the gate rail.

Can the gate be mounted to a round steel pole?

Asked by: BIG RIG DRIVER
No. The mounting hardware that comes with it must be driven into a post.

We installed a blue painted gate about 2 years ago and we love it. However the paint is starting to rust a bit. Is there a touch up paint that matches the color that can be purchased?

Asked by: Kth1
You can check your local TSC.

I like the black. Is that painted over galvanized. I'm near salt water. Do I need to buy galvanized and paint it black?

Asked by: Jim1950
If you need the galvanized product, you'll need to purchase it as galvanized, not painted. The black gates are not black paint over galvanized. Thanks,

What is the space between the post i should allow?

Asked by: JJJJJJoey
Our gates are 3" shorter than the width listed to allow for gate hardware and proper clearance. So you can plan to allow the full 4' between posts for this gate. Thank you,

What is the spacing between bars?
