Q: what are the ingredients? Is there a binder that helps hold the cube together? What cubes are made for rabbits?

1 Answer
  • Standlee® Product Expert
A: Standlee Premium Western Forage pellets and cubes are produced through a process that begins with the coarse grinding of a 4x4x8 bale of forage. The forage is then compressed through a large die using heat and steam to form the final product. Bentonite is added to cubes to help prevent crumbling. Standlee does not manufacture cubes specifically for rabbits.

Horse loves it and I love it too

This makes it easy to feed both alfalfa and Timothy pellets without mixing them individually. My horse loves the taste of it as well. His coat which is often kind of scruffy looking with his Cushings looks better than when he was just eating hay and a ration balancer.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Secret Weapon on Show Days

I've been feeding these daily to my mare, who needs extra calories and has to have her feed soaked. She also struggles with ulcers. This product has been a game-changer for us. It helps keep her calorie intake up, slows her down while eating, and the alfalfa helps buffer stomach acid. It's also my secret weapon on show days. She gets a full serving before we hit the road and then smaller servings throughout the day. It helps support her stomach, provides quick energy, and adds extra water to her diet since she refuses to drink much when we're traveling. For my hard keeper with ulcers, this has become a must-have.

Yes, I recommend this product.
