Works great! Easy install. Be careful lifting on a ladder to mount.....a tick heavy and bulky but manageable. Have mounting bolts readily available while holding in place.

For hunting

I’m pretty new to all things hunting so when my wife got me this game hoist I wasn’t sure what to make of it. To me it looked like some sort of medieval torture device. I said “honey you gonna string me up there and cut my skin off?” I chuckled. She didn’t. Turns out she had a relative back in the Middle Ages that was killed in a similar fashion. I had no idea. Apparently her and her family are still broken up about it. So anyways, long story short, I was at work the next day and my coworker Jason, who works in accounting, asked me if I happen to have a pencil he could borrow and I said no but I’ve got a game hoist. I chuckled again. He of course had no idea what I was talking about so I showed him a picture of it. He said “oh a game hoist, for hunting and gutting game, I thought you said a game joist”. I said what’s a game joist? He said something about how a game joist is a thing he uses to clean his ears after he showers. I said oh you mean like a Q-tip? And he looked at me a winked. I was so confused.
