Sand impactions can occur when a horse ingests sand or soil particles, either accidentally or intentionally. Many horses ingest small amounts of sand without harm, but if the volume is high enough, the excess sand may congregate in the horse's intestinal tract and can cause an obstruction. The incidence of excess sand in the gut is often thought of being limited to horses in sandy areas or regions, but horses can have bouts of sand colic regardless of geographic location and even if they're grazing on pastures. Sand and dirt hide in unexpected places like hay bales, grass pastures, and your horse. Help reduce the possibility of sand colic in horses with SandClear Crumbles. SandClear Crumbles is formulated with a premium psyllium husk to support the removal of sand and dirt from the ventral colon. Ideal for horses that live in sandy regions, are turned out on overgrazed pastures, eat hay off the ground, or habitually consume sand due to boredom. This palatable, apple & molasses flavored psyllium supplement is backed by veterinarians for horses of all ages, including foals.

Keeps my horses safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SandClear Crumbles have been really effective for my horses, especially since they graze off the ground and are in sandy areas. I like that the texture is similar to pelleted grain, so it mixes right into their feed without any issues and they eat it up without hesitation. There isn’t much of a scent to it at all, which is nice because some supplements can be pretty strong-smelling, but this one goes unnoticed. The packaging is decent—sturdy enough to handle being opened and closed often without tearing or breaking down, and the scoop inside makes it easy to measure out. For the price, I think it’s good value for money since it gives me peace of mind that I’m helping reduce the risk of sand colic. Overall, it’s simple, effective, and easy to use, which makes it something I plan to keep on hand regularly.

Horses didnt mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With different supplements, my horses will push around their food and knock it out of their feeders. This supplement they did not do that. The packaging is easy to open and smaller, so it doesn't take up much room. The pellets are small and soft, my senior horse had no issues with chewing them, and I didn't have to soak them for him.

SandClear is a must-have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent supplement! My horses love the apple/molasses flavor and eat it with no problem. It really helps support their digestive health. SandClear is a must-have in my feeding program. The psyllium crumbles are effective at eradicating sand from horses' colons and preventing colic, and within 4 days of use. The horses love the taste! The tub will last a while and is good value to use 4 to 5 feedings.
