Great way to meet sodium requirements!

My horse is on a forage-based diet and since switching and continuous, I discovered my horse's necessity for daily salt to meet his nutritional needs. Even though my horse enjoys a salt block, there is no way for me to know that he is receiving the minimum required amount each day. In addition to a daily electrolyte year-round, I added Redmond Rock Crushed to his SmartPak! Not only do I know that he is getting the salt required in his diet, but Redmond Rock Crushed also provides 50 trace minerals. This gives me the peace of minds that he his sodium requirements are being met and he is encouraged to drink plenty of water. My horse is an extremely picky eater, but he finds the added salt extremely palatable. This will definitely continue to be a staple in my horse’s SmartPak!
