- A: I have used U-Gard for a couple of years and I believe it did help a bit. However, my horse has long-standing ulcer issues and when they flared up (due to anxiety/stress) issues, he needed prescription ulcer medication.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: This product says "Pellet" but in the description it says "Powder" Which is it? I need the pellets, an can't use the powder.

I’ve been using the Ulcer Gard pellets for about a year now. Through 2 barn moves and many shows, my horse still has not shown any gastric discomfort. His vets agree (based on acupuncturist stomach points).
Yes, I recommend this product.
