Rated 5 out of 5 by from Birds Love It Best seed I’ve found. Large whole sunflower hearts rather than crumbs like I’ve purchased elsewhere. Birds love it also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. The birds on my property love this product. It is much cleaner than any seed with shells. I refill the feeder regularly and the birds are very happy and well fed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy squirrels gone mad All my squirrels love sunflower hearts. They look for me every morning and wait patiently for me to spread them out. Then they go crazy. All the birds love them too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leaves no mess Compared to the sunflower seeds with shells, this is expensive but cleaning up all the shells was a very time consuming and back breaking job. The birds (and chipmunks and squirrels and groundhogs) really like these and what are we here for except to cater to the wildlife!

I have been buying this product for years. Not only has the seed been steadily increasing in price, the quality is decreasing. There is now so much dust, webs from infestation and actually moths in each bag I buy. What is going on?

Asked by: OldCrow
Meal moths can occur in wild bird food or any natural grain product in hot, humid weather. Meal moths will not hurt the birds, but obviously unpleasant for the consumer. The insect reproduces very fast. If the product was in this condition when the product was purchased, it should be returned to the store for exchange.

I have been buying this produce for years with no problem, but in the past year everything under the feeders are covered in a thick layer of skin from the seed. If this doesn't change I will no longer purchase this product.

Is there any manufacture or expiration dates on your packages of bird seed, sunflower hearts, etc. ?

Asked by: jerthebear
Yes, there are expiration dates on our product. It can be found either on the back of the bag by the UPC code or maybe on the top or bottom tabs on the bag. Depending on the which of plants the product was produced in it may be in different locations. The date would look something like this: 6/15/18 M1D.
