The finches and woodpeckers are glad I buy this seed mix. There is very little of this food wasted unlike when thistle seed is put in the feeder. I've tried other brands but my birds like this the best. Your songbirds will love it too.

Does not work well with finch feeders.

I had used this product for quite awhile and was really satisfied. However, the last few bags we bought had a lot of trash and seed that were to large to come through to small finch feeder slots. I have changed brands.

This mix is a very good value. It does not have much thistle seed in it, bit the birds do seem to like it. I bought another bag just to have enough for winter.

I was paying a lot for white millet for my guinea, decided to try this to cut costs. They mostly ignore the Nyjer seed & I've come across a few whole corn kernels, but they bypass those. But the bulk of it is white millet & canary seed with sunflower kernels, which they love, Good as a treat, training, & giving them a boost in the winter.
