The Reinsman 7 in. Rutledge Roper Sweet Iron Bit looks to be severe, but when ridden with a medium to tight curb, the mouthpiece lays flat on the bars over a wide area, touching more and many new nerves. This bit is ideal for horses with a damaged tongue or bars. Its unique floating shank allows curb to be drawn from side to side for a totally new feel. Sweet iron increases salivation for a supple mouth.
