Q: I bought these last year and set them out all day 3 of them aren't working? Do I change the battery? How do I get to it?
15 days ago- A: The Red Shed 10 in. Solar Wall Lantern uses a single Ni-MH AAA rechargeable battery (600mAh, 1.2V). Before you buy replacements, make sure the built-in power switch wasn't accidentally shut off while sitting outside. Take the lanterns into a completely dark room or completely cover the solar panel with your hand while turning the switch on. The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensors automatically deactivate the light if they register any daylight, so they will look "broken" if tested outside during the day To replace the battery in your specific Red Shed Lantern from Tractor Supply, follow these steps: Remove the bulb unit: Reach inside the sage-colored protective metal mesh cage and gently push the light/bulb unit upward to separate it from the main body Expose the back panel: Flip the black solar panel housing (the top cap section) completely upside down Open the compartment: Locate the three small screws securing the battery plate on the underside. Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove them Swap the battery: Lift off the compartment cover, pull out the old dead battery, and insert a new Ni-MH AAA rechargeable battery. Make sure the positive (+) and negative (-) alignment matches the markings inside the chamber Reassemble & Reset: Screw the cover back into place, reattach the housing to the lantern, and ensure the power switch is flipped firmly to the "ON" position14 days agoHelpful?
Q: How many watt light bulb does it use?
