Perfect for a 1st time chicken owner

Love this coop! Took about 4 hours with 2 people to put together. Directions were easy to follow. It's exactly what I was looking for with not building my own coop and spending a fortune. I have 10 chickens and so far 3 have moved in. Very roomy with three perch bars, 3 nesting boxes and the inside is very spacious. Others have mentioned the steep of the ramp, but my chickens have had no problem with it. I haven't had to make any additional changes to the security part whether adding latches or extra wiring. I'm in a forest setting and I've have no problem with the latches that it came with. Giving this 5 stars with my expectations!

It technically does the job it’s intended for, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Especially not if it is your chickens first coop after the brooder.
The sliding door for the chickens to enter and exit the coop is my biggest qualm. It is pretty much useless as many wood on wood tracks are (especially since this is an outdoor coop so the door swells and warps with the elements). The metal handle is no help in opening or closing this sliding door so every morning I have to crouch down into my coop and try to muscle the sliding door open, or closed, and it is literally the biggest pain in the world. And I’m only 5’2”. I can’t imagine what a pain this would be for someone taller.
Also, if this is your chickens first coop after the brooder, you have to teach them to use the ramp to go from the run. This means every evening I have to crouch down in the run and pick up nine chickens and set them on the ramp in hopes they will one day do it on their own. But where the issue comes in, is if the chickens don’t want to be picked up, they can just hide under the coop. I can’t get them under there unless I get down on my elbows and knees and I’m not doing that in a chicken run. So I just have to shake my bag of mealworms at them until they feel like obliging.
Also, one of the doors to the run is completely useless to me as it was not manufactured correctly (see picture). That’s a huge bummer for this much money.
I took a risk on this coop because there were no reviews to go off of. So Now I’m leaving a review so you can properly decide for yourself if these are cons you want to live with everyday.
Pro- It’s cute…but I rather it be more functional.

Nightmare Coop

Horrible Craftsmenship!
Horrible craftsmanship! About 10 shiners (nails sticking out) that they just puttied over and moved on. One nail shot through the corner where a fitted piece needed to go, and I had to chisel the putty out and move the nail. The plastic window was cracked because they over tightened the screw. The door that opens with the window in it is so misaligned that it wouldn’t shut or open I had to sand it down with an oscillating sander. All in all, I I was disappointed to say the least

Sad and confused.

Bought a Producer's Pride Bungalow, and Villa Chicken Coop. Our truck carried the Bungalow, but as the Villa weight was very heavy, paid for delivery to home, $75. Store said would send 4 men to safely move the Villa. Only one man arrived w/the Villa. He was tall and strong, but was unable to unload the Villa w/o issues. The chicken stairway was installed on the wrong end of the Villa, and the driver bent it backwards when unloading the Villa, as well as chips and splintering around the base of the coop. I wanted to buy another Villa, to put "end to end", giving the animals more space to move about, or fellowship, yet remain separate. The delivery man had limited English, and we did a lot of gesturing. However, he left w/o correcting the damage or repair. Also, one young man told me they had another Villa in stock, and he would build it, and carefully. I checked w/the store on Monday, before the scheduled Tuesday delivery. The desk person knew nothing about the second Villa. She asked if I had paid for the second Villa, and I told her "no", that I wanted to view it first. I had noticed that a new Villa was on the store lot, but it had a SOLD sign on it, and another customer's name. What are my options for some damage recovery, etc. It is very disappointing, as I wanted these shelters for my cats, not chickens, and both male and female. It is tiring, distressing, and almost hard to shop there, making someone understand what you wish to purchase, with good results. I even sought AI on "How to Proceed", and they had a lot to say, and unlimited suggestions. Pictures, names of all company authorities, etc.

I don’t think this coop is worth the price. It’s heavy, but surprisingly fragile. Right out of the box, there was already a large section of paint missing, which is unacceptable for a new product. As I unpacked it, even more paint chipped off easily, which makes me question its overall durability.
On top of that, the hardware has been frustrating to work with. The pre-drilled holes don’t line up with the brackets, making assembly much harder than it should be. Some pieces simply don’t fit together properly without forcing them.
Overall, I would not recommend this coop, especially at its MSRP. The quality just doesn’t match the price.

This coop is the only coop you should consider. Easy to build, sturdy and withstood a very cold WI winter keeping the chickens warm and happy. It does not comfortably suit 12 chickens. 9 max unless you wanna clean it out every day.
