Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend This is fantastic! I want another one. My 25 and 14 year old sons put it together in no time. My chickens ran right in. They love the two roosting bars. I have 26 hens in there now. I do need to get another one so I can split them, but for now they seem perfectly comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value for your money This coop is not only well made but very easy to assemble. It took me less then thirty minutes to put together but because the sections are heavy, you will need some help lifting pieces into place. Very happy to have purchased this coop and it’s well worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the coop❤️ It had some cosmetic flaws from shipping but the company sends touch up paint for that. Nice quality product. Set up was easy and fast. We bought the large size (which they say holds 15) for 6 hens. Perfect for 6 (I think it is way too small for 15 hens).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST COOP EVER! I was looking at a bunch of coops and this one was a little more than the others but it looked like it was built better so I decided to pay a little more and boy am I glad I did. The quality is unreal, it is built better than my house and assembly was super easy so I am VERY satisfied with my purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice beginner coop for hobby. Well built. Easy to assemble. Size is not what i expected. The actual height measured from ground to peak of highest point of roof. A five year old could stand comfortably in this building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and value. Solid Coop Excellent quality built coop! Took a little longer to put together than notes but it was easy to put up with 2-3 people. Great value for the quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overexposed Chicken Coop Easily put together. You must make sure base is level before installing sides. The hardest part was taking it off the storage pallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love the new coop. My husband and I put it together in less than an hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice design and seems durable. The coop was packaged well and was labeled well also. This made it easy to lay out the sections for assembly. The materials seem to be of good quality and went together fairly easily up to the last section of the roof. This could have been caused by settling of the blocks we set the floor on as we had to fill in some dirt in the location. Otherwise my wife is happy with it and I guess more importantly the chickens love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coop! This is a well built unit and looks great. Very easy to assemble and you can watch a helpful short video before you start. Appreciate it came with touch up paint for any knicks made moving pieces around. It is possible for a large, strong person to navigate but I recommend two reasonably strong people to move the pieces and put it together for ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeping my eggs in one basket Great coop. Easy to put together, clean and simple. 15 large birds is a max. Capacity. Put it together in about a hour.
Date published: 2020-03-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Coop I bought the large. Once we unpacked it and loaded in the truck to move it to the back of the yard, it took my son less than an hour to put it together by himself. It did need extra bracing under the nesting boxes due to tilts easy from the extra weight on that side of the coop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Coop Very well constructed and easy to assemble but you do need two people (at least for the large coop). It should last for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Chicken Coop. Well designed to withstand weather and house chicks. Easy to assemble with 2 people

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds 12 comfortable Well this is probably the easiest and most convenient coop on the market . I have 2 different sets up with 2 different sizes . I have 12 chickens 4 whit legs - 5 rocks and 3 Austria white. There is always room for more chickens . The only complaint I have is that it’s a B to clean out .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-built, simple, but very functional. This was my fourth chicken coop kit that I had purchased from Tractor Supply. Though I purchased them less than a year ago, they are no longer offered; and this is a good thing. Their quality was horrible. Hence, I was really looking for something that would last more than two years in Kentucky weather. This OverEZ coop appears to be an excellent choice. The coop arrived via a tractor trailer with gate-lift. The coop was well protected in a covered, pallet-crate. Disassembling the crate to remove the coop was the most difficult of the assembly process. The instructions were adequate, though I do recommend viewing the assembly video on the OverEZ web site. Two of us assembled the coop in about 30 minutes once we had everything on site. We took it slow and were careful. The only tools we used were a battery-drill and couple of claw hammers. The hammers were for breaking down the crate and removing a couple of protecting boards from the roof pieces. The drill-screwdriver was even included in the kit along with extra screws and touch-up paint. The manufacturer put a lot of thought in the kit. The construction materials are all wood-products. The exterior surfaces are oil-based painted and appears to be quite water-proof. The interior floor has a water-proof coating. The two roost-horizontals are well above the level of the nest boxes. Something most coop-kits do not feature which creates a problem with chickens roosting in the next boxes. While large, there is not too much floor space. I would say that 12 to 15 large laying hens would be the maximum capacity. As for cleaning, I do not recommend using a water hose to wash out the coop. I am using a wide eye-hoe each morning to bring the waste to the man-door and out. It takes just a minute to do this. My overall impression of the coop after a week of use is very favorable. I would equate the construction with that of a medium-duty wooden storage shed. The main walls are not true plywood, but are OSB. We really do not want any moisture to get inside the coop to the unpainted/untreated OSB surfaces. Hence, not washing out the coop with the water hose. The hardware, the roofing, the windows are all very good quality and function well. I would definitely purchase another OverEZ Chicken Coop based upon this first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter wonderland in Wisconsin I picked the pallet at the store. It fit perfectly between the wheel wells of a standard pickup. The store loaded it with a forklift (yea, it’s that big). I unloaded it with a friend, both big, bulky guys, but would be better unloaded with four people. Uncrating was a snap. I put it together by myself, in the snow, in northern Wisconsin. Not advised, but doable. It went together easily, given the size, one corner was out of square by about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. It pulled together with a big bar clamp and stayed put after the screws were in. I can’t see any gaps where the light shines through from the inside, and looks great. I’m going to stop at the feed store tomorrow and get bedding, straw and some felts for seals around the doors, that the only place I can feel a draft from the inside. This thing is substantial, should last for years. The garage flock will be moving out tomorrow. They should be happy with this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coop Review Super easy to build, I would definitely consider building them a run. Mine held 19, by the recommendation it was over filled but with the run we built they where more then happy at night to go in and stay together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied Customer This is a sturdy little shed and well designed for its purpose, I would certainly recommend this product. If the shipping company had been more forthright with their status updates I’d have given this coop a solid 5 Stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Got our coop, it came in perfect condition, we have not put it together yet, but it looks so easy, should not have a problem doing it. Love the coop and even though it is pricey, it looks very sturdy hoping my future chickens will like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!! Order showed up quickly. Coop was loaded onto my trailer in seconds. Instructions said half hour for assembly but it was more like 20 minutes with 3 people. Thank you Tractor Supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coop This coop was exactly as advertised, and I recomend it if you are looking for a high quality chicken coop. One point I would like to make, if you watch the video on assembly, please understand that you will need at least 2 or more people to assemble. The shipping weight is 800 lbs and you will need help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coop. Exactly as advertised I needed a 2nd coop. My coop has too much air flow for a NY winter for the hens. I purchased this as my winter coop. The first delivery came significantly damaged in shipping. I refused same and the return went very smooth and a new delivery was promptly scheduled. Coop arrived (no damage) and driver was nice enough to move it from street to back of my driveway. Hardest part was opening the crate and moving each piece to where I was putting it in the yard. I put the base on pressure treated 2x4s that was on cinder blocks. I buried the cinder block and made the top of the 2x4 right at ground level so if I want to buy the panels they will fit right. I then took my time and made sure the base was perfectly level. This was by far the most time consuming part. From there with the help of my son (26) it took less than an hour to put the coop together. It really wasn't hard at all and it not only looks great, it functions great. They provided everything you need. Only tool needed is a power screw gun. They even give you the screw bit, extra screws and touch up paint for any scratches from shipping and/or assembly. I would highly recommend this coop. It is definitely worth the money. Very well built and easy assembly. Directions were simple and easy to follow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZ large coop Best coop I’ve ever had this is second one for me. Won’t have to replace this one ever!
Date published: 2019-10-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good coop for backyard birds We have a fenced portion of a fenced yard setup for chickens. An attempt at ordering a larger coop from a local shed place made me realize that both fences would have to have pieces go down to accommodate the install and they wanted to do the leveling themselves. This coop was not as big as I wanted, but it went it without a piece of fence removed and leveled easily. It is solidly built, easy to assemble and looks like it will last for years. I’m considering a second one to accommodate the size issue, having a village instead of a condo, because it was so much better than expected when I ordered.
