Terrible for orchid the bark is all in tiny pieces not chunky at all which will be too moist for orchids it will die

There will be a little variation in the size of the bark pieces that make up the soil. The pieces should not be any larger then 1 inch size.

A Disappointment

Despite the bad reviews, I wanted to give Miracle-Gro orchid potting mix a chance as over the years I have purchased many other Miracle-Gro products and liked them. Like so many other Mircle-Gro Orchid potting mix product reviews, the pieces are very tiny and fall through the holes of my orchid pots. I dumped the mixture into a pail to see if the smaller pieces filtered to the top of the bag, but the entire bag was full of tiny, unusable pieces. The potting mix is nothing like the picture on the front of the bag. If this mix is considered a course blend, I can’t imagine what a medium or fine blend would be.
