Q: How many cubic square feet is this?

- A: Hi Greyhound Lover, Per the vendor: This sized bag should be around .4 cubic ft of soil. They are hand filled and the bag can fit ~9.5 quarts, so the soil amount is usually a little bit over that 8qt size.3 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this product safe for chickens? It would be mixed with your Organic Peat Moss to make a dust bath mix if it is safe for them. Also, if this is safe for chickens, what ratio of this Organic Potting Mix to Organic Peat Moss would you recommend?

- A: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to Perfect Plants. I do believe that our peat moss would be good for bedding as it does not clump and highly absorbent. I would recommend to reach out to your veterinarian to actually determine if this will be safe for their dust bath because it can cause respiratory problems if there is any bacteria or fungi.
