Beautify your potted flowers with Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. This specially formulated potting mix will feed your plants for up to 6 months and protect against both over-watering and under-watering. It absorbs up to 33% more water than basic potting soil, so your plants can remain hydrated. Versatile, the moisture control potting mix can be used with indoor and outdoor container plants. Grow plants twice as big!

- Directions: Select a pot with a drain hole and fill the pot about 1/3 full. Loosen the root ball and place the plant in the pot. Add mix and press lightly. Water the plants and then let the water drain.

The item came fast I forgot it was in garage when I put down it was still moist didnt smell funky.it came in a thick plastic sack that didnt break open.i dont see any bugs lingering and appears that it will work well and last just planted some lemongrass.it will sustain the hot environment with some watering from time to time.

We got this at the perfect time. We just got our new rose bush. The mix is great for our plants. It was mixed very well and easy to pour out of the bag. The size of the bag was perfect we used it around all of our other plants that needed a little extra soil.

This potting mix has been wonderful! Especially in the intense Texas heat. I purchased some plants on clearance that needed some TLC and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use this mixture. I repotted them with this soil and it has helped IMMENSELY. So far the moisture retention has kept the plants from the usual slump that can come up randomly when the heat is worse. Added bonus is that I’m not having to refill my self-watering bulbs so much. I was worried about it retaining TOO much moisture, and while I don’t think it’s been an issue for my plants due to their high needs, I do think it’s a potential downside. So be mindful of that depending on your plants! I will continue using this product on a variety of plants to see if it is up to the challenge and remains consistent. A must have for the caring gardener in harsh climates!
