Harris 2 qt. Horticultural Charcoal, Premium Biochar Soil Amendment for Plants and Terrariums

Last year we lost a well established tree in our yard in a storm. We really wanted to plant in the same spot but the stump was huge. After some research we used Epsom salts to help break down the center of the stump. So this year we ordered a beautiful smoke tree to put in the stump and hoped it would grow but it struggled and we thought we would lose it. Our neighbors stopped by and recommended we add Harris Horticultural Charcoal Soul Ammendment which we had never heard of but they swore by. One bag of Harris Horticultural Charcoal Soil Ammendment and we now have a thriving smoke tree growing in the perfect location. Needless to say we a very impressed and now we walk around the neighborhood recommending Harris Horticultural Charcoal Ammendment to our neighbors! Very highly recommend. This is a great addition to my soil. I mixed this with some standard pouring soil for my snake and spider plants and so far so good. Its been several weeks now and my plants look gorgeous and healthy.

I used the charcoal product to improve the soil when planting some new perennials in my flower beds, as well as for some potted bromleliads. It was easy to use, and all plants appear to be healthy and doing very well. To provide a more complete recommendation, I would need to observe the growth for a longer period of time. However, at this point I would say that I am happy with the results.
