Coco chips are a good value

Good value product. All genuine clean organic product, no trash found as in some other products. Expands just as described. Best way I found is to pour water into the "end grain" of the brick, wait a few minutes, then split with small trowel. I used four gallons of water per package to yield plenty of semi moist substrate. One gallon at a time, rotating brick to dry section of end grain for each gallon, until all separated, mixed well, then left over night covered with plastic to acquire maximum expansion at desired moisture content. Will definitely be repurchasing these again in the future.
