The Norwesco Vertical Liquid Storage Tanks are most frequently used for bulk storage and mobile nursing applications. Norwesco vertical liquid storage tanks feature tie-down slots, built-in graduated gallon indicators, an offset fill-opening and a self-vented, slosh-proof lid. - A: Tanks specifically designed for above ground use cannot be put underground. If it is put below ground, the weight of the earth around the tank will cause the walls to collapse. We do make septic and cistern tanks that are designed to be buried.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: What's the best product to use to clean the inside if we're going to put water to drink in it? Baking soda?

- A: Use a mixture of detergent and hot water (household laundry soap powder will do) to scrub and clean all internal surfaces of the tank. This can be done with a stiff brush or a high pressure jet.5 years agoHelpful?

Awesome Tank!

I use this tank to haul water to a pasture beyond my water line. Works awesome. Got all the parts needed at TSC. 1 1/4 reducer to 3/4 (pipe thread) then converted to 3/4 garden hose. I put on a shut off and can gravity flow out or hook up a small pump.

Didn't arrive in great condition

The water tank arrived with dirt and debris inside the tank. The exterior of the tank arrived scuffed/scratched and dirty. Arrived the same day I ordered it.
However, it appears to hold water, so I just cleaned it up and will use it to store saltwater for aquarium water changes.
It comes without any plumbing on the bottom bulkhead, just the open hole. You will need a 1 1/4" threaded fixture there.

Just what I was missing. I stored water for my aquarium was using garbage can but now I can stored more water and be able to see the water lvl without opening the lid

Yes, like the previous reviewer, you need a 1-1/4" threaded cap insert (and some teflon tape to stop drips) to seal this tank.
