The Norwesco Water Storage Tanks are manufactured using resins that meet FDA specifications to ensure safe storage of potable water. The dark color limits light penetration, which reduces the growth of water-borne algae. These large water storage tanks are rated at 9.2 pounds per gallon, which means that they are for water storage only and should not be used for chemicals, fertilizers or any other product. They are designed to last thanks to their corrosion-resistant polyethylene construction. It features a 16" threaded vented manway, 1.5" polypropylene female npt bulkhead fitting inlet, and 2" polypropylene female npt bulkhead fitting outlet. This tank is backed by a 3 year limited manufacturer warranty. This vertical water storage tank can be used in a variety of water storage applications such as rainwater collection, well water storage, fire suppression, and bulk water delivery storage.

- A: Hi, The Polyethylene resin is UV Stabilized. Made of polyethylene approved by the FDA for food contact. 3 Year Manufacturer's Warranty. Below are the details of the warranty. Norwesco offers a three year warranty from date of manufacture on all premium weight tanks and black or dark green vertical water storage tanks and a five year warranty on all heavy weight tanks. Should a defect appear within the warranty period Norwesco will supply a new, equivalent tank in replacement thereof. Norwesco’s liability is limited to the value of the tank itself and specifically excludes the cost of installation and/or removal or consequential damages. Great tank, at 46 inch dia it fits in a pick up truck well. The lid and plugs are replaceable from other vendors so, if you loose the cap or plugs you aren't out of business.
