Q: How can I attach a garden hose to this tank?

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Honeyhut, The tank comes standard with a 2" female bulkhead fitting (threads on the inside). You'll want to insert a 2" male x 3/4" female reducer. Next, install a 3/4 male x 3/4 male nipple (these come in standard lengths 2", 4" or 6" - you choose). Then install a 3/4" female x 3/4 female single union valve onto the nipple. Last, you may want to install a 3/4 male x 3/4 garden hose connector - to allow you to run a hose from the tank. Or instead, install a male 90 degree downspout to help you aim the water into the drinking cannister. There a couple helpful videos on Norwesco's YouTube channel, or give me a call directly if you need further help. Please feel free to call with any questions. Bob 952-446-8807

225 Gallon Leg Style Storage Tank Review

I am writing to give you a review on tbe SKU Number: (2137455) 225 gallon Leg Style Storage Tank so others wont make the same mistake I did!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought it for a fuel tank. Unfortunately after having it filled it leaked around the bung and plug. I even loosened them and added form-a-gasket, it still leaked. I called my Tractor Supply Store. They called the manufacture and they wouldn’t stand behind it. Thanks to Tractor Supply they stood behind it and gave me my money back. for my experience I can’t rate it more then a one star if that!!!!! Thank You Tractor Supply!!!!!!!!!!

Great quality for a competitive price!

This water tank was exactly as I expected it to be. It is made of strong and durable roto-molded plastic and has very high quality workmanship. The price was comparable to other tanks offered online. The tank was purchased for use on a pressure washing trailer and is a perfect fit!

Yes, I recommend this product.
