    A: Storing gasoline in a polyethylene tank is not recommended as it can be dangerous due to the potential for the gasoline to permeate the plastic, causing leaks, and because polyethylene can't effectively dissipate static electricity which could lead to fire hazards when storing flammable liquids like gasoline

Q: Will this be suitable as-is to use as a water tank for a rain water collecting system (does it come with an input, output, and overflow hole drilled in?)

  • A: Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Here is the information we received from the vendor- "They have a lid on top and a 3/4” npt fitting on the side at the bottom for various connection options. There is not an overflow hole on the tank. It can be used in the collection of rainwater.

    Works as it should. TSC didn't have any drain fittings, but not the tank's fault.
