- A: No, the cap is not vented for high-volume draw. The standard fill cap only has a small hole designed to hold the cap retention lanyard, which does not allow enough airflow for a pressure washer setup. If you plan to use this as a pressure washer supply tank: Vacuum Risk: Pumping water out at high GPM without adequate venting will create a vacuum, causing the tank to collapse or starving/cavitating your pressure washer pump.22 days agoHelpful?
Q: What fitting do I need to use for garden hose connection

- A: To connect a standard 3/4" garden hose (GHT) to a 3/4" NPT bulkhead fitting on that tank, you need a 3/4" Male NPT to 3/4" Male GHT (Garden Hose Thread) adapter. There is not an overflow hole on the tank. It can be used in the collection of rainwater.3 years agoHelpful?

To help clarify for future projects, this 65-gallon leg tank actually comes standard from our factory with a 3/4" polypropylene bulkhead fitting already pre-installed in the tank wall. If you are trying to hook up a standard garden hose or a specific plumbing line to that pre-installed outlet, you will usually just need a standard 3/4" pipe-thread adapter (such as a 3/4" MPT x 3/4" Garden Hose adapter). If you ever run into a hitch like this again or need help figuring out the exact fitting sizes for your setup, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to our customer service team—we'd be happy help!
