Q: Will a 3500 running watt generator provide adequate power?
3 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! A 3500-running-watt generator is generally the bare minimum for a Lincoln Electric EASY MIG 140, providing enough power for light-duty, intermittent, or lower-setting welding, but it will likely overload if used continuously at high power. For optimal, uninterrupted performance, a 5,000-watt or higher generator is recommended.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Do you have a gasless welder combination plasma cutter

Q: how does the E ASY MIG140 compare to the POWER MIG 140 MP
8 months ago- A: The Lincoln Electric EASY-MIG® 140 is a straightforward MIG/Flux-Cored welder built for ease of use—perfect if you only need wire welding on steel and stainless. It’s heavier (about 50 lbs) and single-purpose, but simple and reliable. The POWER MIG® 140 MP offers more flexibility: it can run MIG, Flux-Cored, Stick, and even DC TIG. It’s lighter (around 34 lbs), more portable, and gives you options for different welding processes. The trade-off is higher cost and a bit more complexity. Bottom line: Choose the EASY-MIG 140 if you want simple, dependable MIG welding. Pick the POWER MIG 140 MP if you want one machine that covers multiple processes.8 months agoHelpful?
Q: lost my owners manuel -what are the letters ABCD - I have .035 wire and want to weld on 3/16" angle iron where should i set machine
11 months ago- A: On your welder, the letters A, B, C, and D typically refer to voltage settings, and the numbers control wire feed speed. For welding 3/16" angle iron with .035" wire, a good starting point would be setting your machine to 3D: 3 is your wire feed speed—this is on the lower side, but a good baseline. D is the hottest voltage setting, which gives you the heat needed to get good penetration on 3/16" steel. You can always fine-tune from there depending on your weld results. Also, check the inside front panel of your welder—there’s usually a procedure decal guide there with recommended settings for wire type, thickness, and more.11 months agoHelpful?
