The HIT 80 Amp Flux-Core 120V MIG Welder Kit is versatile, compact and powerful. Easy to use and easy to carry, this Flux-Core Welder is ideal for jobs big and small at home, on the farm, or at the shop. The HIT MIG Welder utilizes a 120V plug, so it can be used at any standard outlet, for convenience and versatility. Welds carbon steel with a maximum thickness of 18 gauge. The 120-Volt MIG Welder is also equipped with thermal overload protection for safe operation. Complete ready to use 80 Amp Flux-Core MIG Welding Kit includes ground cable with clamp, welding gun, wire spool, welding face shield and brush hammer. Get your new welder kit today.

  • Advanced thermal overload protection with indicator light for safety
  • Welds all types of carbon steel up to 18 gauge or 3/16 in. thick in a single pass
  • Compatible with electrode sizes 1/16 to 5/64 in.
  • Use flux core wire size .030 - .035 in., use without shielding gas
  • Plugs into standard 120-volt outlet, 60 Hz,, 31 volt no load
  • Variable amps output 30 to 80 with duty cycle of 30% at 80A

A Great Flux-Core Welder

A very solid welder for the kind of work I'm doing, IE: small-to-medium sized jobs and projects in the metal workshop + garage. Once you get the spool loaded and the amperage dialed in, it genuinely just works. I was lucky enough to pick it up at about half-off price, and at that price I'd definitely say I'm happy with it. I would have been willing to pay full price for it, though. The only thing I can't speak to is longevity since I've only used it for a few welds so far, but the build quality does seem solid so I have no concerns.

I bought this to repair some outdoor metal yard art, that over time the tack welds broke. This little welder does the trick, easy to operate and priced right. Will use it to make my own yard art.
