After I returned the first one I purchased and picked up a new one it works great.

Does it have a spot for welding gas

The Forney Easy Weld 140FC-i does not have a spot to inset inert gas. This machine is a Flux Core welder only. You may look into the Forney Easy Weld 140 MP that is a gas or gas-less MIG welder. Thank you for your question.

Can i run it off house hold 115 amp out let

This machine was designed to be used with a 20 AMP breaker, and therefore all of the published performance data is referring to a 20 AMP system.

Can I use hobart contact tips with this welder? I don't see the Forney tips on the tractor supply site.

Yes,you can use Hobart contact tips with the Forney 261. The Hobart tips are Tweco style which is the same style as that is needed for the Forney 261.
