The Forney Easy Weld 140 FC-I MIG Welder machine uses flux core wire. You can use this Forney welder for do-it-yourself, maintenance and repair, metal fabrication, and hobbyist projects. The Easy Weld welder has infinite voltage and wire feed speed control so you can dial in the perfect weld. Big enough to handle two and ten pound rolls of wire, this 140 FC-i MIG welder comes in an all metal case for durability with daily use.

- Powerful with a 120-volt input and up to 140 Amp output that allows you to weld mild steel with up to a 1/4 in. plate

- Welder includes: a 8 ft. MIG gun, 8 ft. ground clamp, integrated handle with torch wrap, and a 20A-15A adapter

I purchased this to do a simple frame patch on my old truck and it wont even weld 1/8 steel plate...they claim it will weld 1/4 in plate !Its worthless. It doesn't even make a decent tack weld !

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. If all your looking to do is stick some metal together then it might work for you. It doesn’t get hot enough to produce a decent weld on even thin metal. You could give this to a professional welder that stacks dimes all day and it would make them look like they have never welded a day in their life. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
