The Lincoln Electric K5431-1 No Rules No Limits variable shade auto-darkening welding helmet kit includes a rugged lightweight helmet with comfortable headgear and an oversized absorbent sweatband for those long days under the helmet. Includes 2 extra inside and outside impact resistant clear lenses. The Variable shade feature allows you to choose from shades 7-13. The helmet also features an additional grind mode shade. It can be used in Stick, TIG, Pulsed TIG, MIG, Pulsed MIG, Flux-Cored, Gouging welding processes.

Great Beginners Kit!

I am novice welder and I bought this kit because it included everything I need. I saw similar package deals from other retailers at higher prices with less gear but this one had more bang for your buck. Everything seems to be high quality. I am really please with the helmet and the gloves. The helmet was easy to use and worked great. Viewing area was large enough to see what I was doing with ease. The gloves were nice and thick and comfortable. They are also lined which only added to the comfort. The welding sleeves were also a nice touch. I was able to get the job done with everything provided.
I highly recommend this kit.

I didn't really need everything contained within, but that isn't a drawback...
I've been using a cheap unit from Menards for quite some time and was satisfied with it... However, after a while, they stopped maintaining stocks of the cover lenses... And because they were off-brand, they were the only source... Going back to a mainstream brand, that issue should easily be resolved... I like all the features and find only 1 thing I'd change... The back of the adjustable headband needs a bit of cushioning... The front has excellant cushion...
