The bedding covered a wider area than I anticipated and instantly transformed the coop, leaving a fresh chip smell. Chips handled water spills and poop wonderfully. And the ducks loved being able to nose around in the chips.

This bedding is never wet or has moisture inside the package. I have never had it turn moldy in the coop or smell. It may be a tad more expensive but I find it less dusty then cheaper bedding and because it does not seem to go moldy, last a long time in the coop, making it sustainable. I then throw old bedding in the compoast. (my chickens use the roost and dropping board for most of their business so the bedding is floor covering. Chickens love to dig through it looking for treat of mealworms that I toss in daily),
