Q: This is 3cu ft and weighs 27 lbs. the regular shavings is 8 cu ft and weighs 22 lbs. the fine is 5.5 cu ft and weighs 24 lbs. i would normalky think finer shavings are heavier due to a more dense packing. But the weights are nowhere close to equal. Why?

inconsistent quality

This product has been inconsistent in its quality. Sometimes it is low dust as advertised and great to use in horse stalls and then other times whole pallets of it come in like baby powder causing a bloom of unhealthy dust in the stall.
