Rated 1 out of 5 by from GARBAGE A spontaneous purchase last fall. I had to fill it up everyday. It did not last through the first cold spell with a light on it. Total waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Replace a fill and tip over style it needs to be on very level ground or all the water will run out I made a platform out of scrap wood dug it into the dirt and leveled it both directions so now it works right this is a problem all waters of this design I like the lid design over turn upside down to fill and flip over designs in between the white jug and red trough there is a two piece black plastic float that some times fills up with water so when I am scrubbing out the jug I open it and let the water out of the black float this problem could be fixed by MFG or by buyer with some silicone calk

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I'd watched the Video prior to first use Initially, this didn't hold water very long. I happened upon the Harris Farms website and watched the "assembly video" which was for a slightly different model. I adjusted the unit, and tightened the interior black screw, which held on the bottom and removed the red cap inside of where water is held and it works GREAT! Always has water available for my flock of 26 and one fill lasts me 2 days, even with 95+ degree heat! Wish I'd found this sooner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chicken drinker I bought this yesterday and it looks like they modified it a little differently then they show it on Youtube, it works fine for me with no over flow or leaking. You have to keep the float cap off of it inside while full of water.

When I put water in it it continues to come out and over fills. How do I fix this?

Asked by: TT2410
This unit works with a float and float stop. Sounds like the float stop is possibly dislodged. Remove the bucket from the base and reassemble the unit to see if this fixes the issue. If not email me at bobw@mannapro.com and I will walk through each part with you step by step.

What do I do when the water doesn't come out?

Asked by: JenBradley625
They may be an issue with the float located in the base. We recommend disassembling and cleaning the unit.

Can you get parts for this? Mine was missing the red thing that stops all the water from coming out all at once.

Asked by: Sammi
It sounds as if the float stop is out of position. Please see instructions below. Steps to correct: 1. Remove the bucket from the base----reach in the bottom of the buck and remove the screw while holding the nut. 2. Turn bucket upside down 3. Make sure that the washer is on the screw---lay screw and nut down. 4. Pick up the float/float stop. Shake the float---if you hear water in it pull back on one side of the float, drain the water out, pop the float back in place. The float is a two piece mold and can take on water if it’s chamber is flooded due to the float stop not working properly. 5. With bucket upside down put the float stop in the hole in the bottom of the bucker. Re-assemble the unit with the bucket upside down. Screw goes through bucket and nut on bottom of base.
