Seals broke after one season. I bought this hoping it would last being on the more expensive side. This was not the case better off buying plastic connectors every season.

Don’t waste your money on this item. I specifically bought a brass item just to avoid the cheaper plastic connectors which tend to crack after a while. The right side of this hose connector is fine, no leaks, the valve works smoothly, the left side leaks an matter what. The valve is hard to turn and it doesn’t matter what kind of washer is in there (I’ve replaced the washer in the hose 3 times and have tried four brand new hoses to see if there is a difference-there isn’t-it still leaks. I have checked the rim for nicks or chinks and don’t see or feel anything that would continue to make this thing leak so it’s a mystery. If I weren’t so busy on the homestead I would have returned it already.
